The person behind the paintbrush
Meet Tanvina
Founder, lead instructor, and the artist behind every original piece on the studio walls.
Artist & instructor
Painting has always been the way I slow down.
Tanvina has spent years developing a detailed, patient watercolor practice — the same florals, botanical studies, and architectural pieces you see throughout the studio and gallery are her own original work.
She's a dedicated Botany Artist at heart, with a deep love for painting plants and flowers in careful, lifelike detail.
She founded Maple Art Gallery to share that same sense of focus and quiet confidence with students of every age, believing that anyone — a six-year-old holding a brush for the first time, or an adult picking one up again after years away — can learn to really see, and really paint.
Her teaching style is hands-on and encouraging: less about getting it "right," and more about building the skills and patience to keep going.

Our philosophy
What we believe about learning art
Everyone starts somewhere
There's no "art person" and "non-art person" — just people who've had guidance, and people who haven't yet.
Technique builds confidence
Real skills — color mixing, composition, brush control — make creativity feel possible, not intimidating.
Process over perfection
A finished piece matters less than the patience, focus, and care that went into making it.
